When we were young, we used to play,
Run around and play with our toys all day,
Then we got older, and as we grew,
We learned about life, and all it puts each of us through,
We learned how to crawl walk and even ride a bike,
And if we were lucky we would learn how to skateboard down a pike,
But no one prepares us for the matters of the heart,
How to fall in love, and how to move on when life says it is time for you both to part,
You go through stages like the waves of the sea,
And there are days when you wonder if you will ever have any tranquility,
Then a day comes along and you begin to see,
How God has blessed you, and lifebecomes happy peaceful and sweet!
So I ask myself every day as Igreet the new day with a warm smile,
I thank God for my health and all that I have, and I invite him along for the ride! :)
